Trolls
In Icelandic folklore, trolls are said to turn to stone when exposed to sunlight. These tales, shared with children, serve as moral lessons about respecting nature. Parents tell of mischievous trolls roaming at night, only to be caught by dawn’s rays. As you hike, look for rock formations that spark your imagination, perhaps resembling trolls or whimsical creatures!
