Vikings
Hrafna-Flóki, a Nordic Viking, sailed to find a new land with his three ravens. The third raven led him to Iceland where he and his crew settled. Unprepared for winter they lost their livestock and Flóki, disheartened, named the land Iceland. Despite this harshness the resilient ravens thrived, symbolizing endurance in Iceland’s rugged landscape.
