My name is Andrea, and I grew up in Hafnarfjörður, where I developed a passion for handicrafts from a young age. My mother taught me to knit when I was only 9 years old, and since then, knitting has been an indispensable part of my life. I worked as a kindergarten teacher for 25 years, enjoying being around children and creating a warm, creative environment for them. When I lost my health and had to leave my job, I turned entirely to knitting, which has always been my passion. Knitting beautiful pieces brings me immeasurable joy and happiness, and today I share my art with others through my handcrafted work.
