Our Story

Welcome to EMIL&LÍNA – born in Iceland

Together with our family and amazing team, we’ve created a brand that brings Icelandic heritage to life through beautifully crafted, affordable pieces for you and your baby.

EMIL&LÍNA started when we were on maternity leave with our second child, dreaming of babywear that reflected the magic of our Icelandic upbringing — the scent of fresh grass, the call of morning birds, and the colors of our wild landscape.

Inspired by childhood memories, from hand-knitted wool sweaters to playful days in the countryside, we set out to design timeless pieces rooted in tradition, but made for today’s families.

THE TEAM

At EMIL&LÍNA, we’re a small team of dreamers, designers, and parents who believe childhood should be full of comfort, color, and a little bit of Icelandic magic.

From our cozy studio in Iceland, we design every piece with care — inspired by nature, playful memories, and the wild weather we know so well. We sketch, choose the softest fabrics, and test everything with real little adventurers (our own kids!).

Each design begins with a story — maybe it’s the colors of the Northern Lights, the feel of moss under tiny toes, or the gentle song of birds in spring. Then we bring that story to life in clothes that are as beautiful as they are practical.

We believe in thoughtful details, sustainable choices, and clothing that kids can live, laugh, and explore in. Because the best outfits are the ones that feel just right — whether you’re climbing a lava rock or cuddling up with a book.
